The Legislature of the State of Utah has published a Bill to amend:
- the registration requirements for owners of motorboats and sailboats
- the safety equipment required to be on board vessels
- the duties of operators involved in accidents relating to notification and reporting procedures
- the duties relating to the investigation and report of operator security concerning a motorboat accident
- the vessel navigation and steering laws
- the rules relating to regattas, races and exhibitions and
- the penalties for trespassing on state lands.
