Highlights
The Legislature of the State of Utah has published a Bill to:
- address secondary water metering
- impose requirements related to metering pressurized secondary water
- provide for penalties for failure to comply with metering requirements
- outline exemptions to the requirements
- provide for grants to fund metering of certain pressurized secondary water services
- allow for water conservation grants under certain circumstances
- address rulemaking authority and
- make technical changes.
