The Chief Executive Officer of the Town of New Milford has issued an Order under the New Milford Charter to:

  • declare a public safety emergency
  • inform the public of hazardous conditions persistent along the Housatonic River
  • reduce public health and safety threats and
  • set out necessary actions to improve and protect public health and safety.
