Highlights

The Governor of Texas has issued a Proclamation under the Texas Government Code to:

  • renew the disaster declaration for COVID-19 posing a threat in all Texan counties
  • authorize the use of all available resources of the State government and of political subdivisions to cope with this disaster; and
  • suspend any regulatory statute prescribing the procedures for conduct of state business or any order or rule of a state agency that would impede necessary action in coping with the disaster.
