Highlights

The Environmental Protection Agency has published a proposed Rule under the Federal Register to:

  • propose to approve State Implementation Plan (SIP) revisions, that include updates to South Carolina’s Prevention of Significant Deterioration (PSD) and Nonattainment New Source Review (NNSR) regulations
  • outline updates to reflect the regulation of greenhouse gases pursuant to the Tailoring Rule
  • describe proposed actions and
  • state that the Administrator is required to approve a SIP submission that complies with the provisions of the Act and applicable Federal regulations.

Interested persons are invited to submit written comments, identified by Docket ID No. EPA–R04– OAR–2022–0397, at www.regulations.gov.
