Pasadena Ordinance 7386 (Amending Title 8 of the Pasadena Municipal Code Organic Waste)

Highlights:

The City Council has published an Ordinance under the Pasadena Municipal Code to:

  • outline requirements for single-family organics generators and commercial businesses
  • provide that there are waivers for generators
  • state requirements for food recovery organizations and services
  • state requirements for commercial edible food generators
  • state requirements for franchise haulers and facility operators
  • state requirements for self-hauliers and
  • detail information on inspections and investigations.
