Highlights
 

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has issued proposed Rules under the Toxic Substances Control Act (TSCA) to:

  • require persons who process any of the listed chemical substances to notify the EPA at least 90 days before starting the activity 
  • provide a list of the substances subject to the proposed Rules and
  • clarify that a person may check if a chemical substance is on the TSCA Inventory at https://www.epa.gov/tscainventory

Interested persons may submit comments before 25 July 2022, identified by docket ID number EPA–HQ–OPPT–2021–0568, at the website https://www.regulations.gov.
