Highlights

The Environmental Protection Agency (EPA) has published a proposed Rule to:

  • exclude(2E)-1,1,1,4,4,4- hexafluorobut-2-ene (HFO1336mzz(E)) from the regulatory definition of volatile organic compounds under the Clean Air Act
  • outline the reactivities of certain chemical compounds and
  • clarify that the exclusion will not result in an increase of risk to human health and the environment.
