 Highlights
 

The City of San Clemente has published an Ordinance to amend Chapter 13.28 of the San Clemente Municipal Code to:

  • empower authorities to enforce compliance with the provisions
  • outline a list of prohibitions and limitations of discharging sewage
  • clarify the determination of mass emission limit
  • impose specific local limits for the discharge of metal pollutants
  • require users to obtain written authorisation to use sewerage facilities
  • outline the types of wastewater discharge permits
  • clarify the pretreatment equipment, reporting and notification requirements
  • require users to provide waste minimisation plans, monitor and report wastewater pollutants
  • outline the enforcement process and penalties for non-compliance with the provisions and 
  • impose fees and charges for wastewater discharge.
