Bulaşıcı Hastalıklar Sürveyans ve Kontrol Esasları Yönetmeliğinde Değişiklik Yapılmasına Dair Yönetmelik [Regulations Amending the Regulations on Infectious Diseases Surveillance and Control Principles]

Highlight:

The Minister of Health of the Republic of Turkey has published the Regulations Amending the Regulations on Infectious Diseases Surveillance and Control Principles.

The Regulations have been amended to include "Covid -19 (new coronavirus disease)" on the "Notification List of Main Infectious Diseases".

Highlight:

The President of the Republic of Turkey has published a Law which aims to reduce the effects of the COVID-19 outbreak on economic and social life by temporarily amending certain laws.

The law has provided for:

-extensions on the validity of certain agricultural/forestry and nautical/marine permits, licenses and certificates
-the postponement of certain general assembly meetings and
-measures to allow for remote work.

Havayolu ile Seyahat Eden Yolcuların Haklarına Dair Yönetmelik (SHY-Yolcu)’de Değişiklik Yapılmasına Dair Yönetmelik [Regulation Amending the Regulation on the Rights of Passengers Traveling by Air (SHY-Passenger)]

Highlight:

The General Directorate of Civil Aviation of the Republic of Turkey has published the Regulations Amending the Regulation on the Rights of Passengers Traveling by Air (SHY-Passenger) (the "Amendment Regulations").

The Amendment Regulations amend the Regulations on the Rights of Passengers Traveling by Air (SHY-Passenger) by adding a Provisional Article regarding flight cancellations as a result of the COVID-19 pandemic. 

Amongst others, the Amendment Regulations state that a passenger whose flight has been canceled due to the COVID-19 outbreak has the right to change the ticket or to exchange the ticket for a desired date depending on the airline's availability.

This notification has been included for information purposes only, despite the fact that the Regulations and Amendment Regulations do not impose obligations on your organisation.

COVID-19 Kapsamında Kamu Çalışanlarına Yönelik İlave Tedbirler ile İlgili 2020/4 Sayılı Cumhurbaşkanlığı Genelgesi [Presidential Circular No. 2020/4 on Additional Measures for Public Employees within the Scope of COVID-19]

Highlight:

The President of Republic of Turkey has published Presidential Circular No. 2020/4 on Additional Measures for Public Employees within the Scope of COVID-19 (the "Circular").

The Circular suggests various work-related measures to be put in place for public employees amidst a time of trying to reduce the effects of the COVID-19 pandemic.

Where possible, the President advises that remote working and more flexible working conditions are to be implemented.

This notification has been included for information purposes only, despite the fact that it does not impose obligations on your organisation.
