Highlights

 

The City Council of La Habra has published an Ordinance amending the La Habra Municipal Code to:

  • prohibit illegal dumping in any waterway
  • provide that it is unlawful to place dangerous materials in containers
  • provide information on the handling of hazardous, radioactive, and medical waste
  • detail information on the transportation of solid waste
  • prohibit burning of solid waste within the city
  • prohibit scavenging of salvageable material
  • state manner of collection and storage of manure
  • prohibit tampering of containers
  • detail franchise agreements standards, requirements and procedures and
  • state the requirements for different types of generators and edible food recovery.
